Coached Swim Workouts

RTB offers structured swim workouts designed to enhance technique, speed, and endurance for athletes of all levels.

  • Schedule:
    • Fall, Winter, and Spring: Tuesday, Thursday, from 5:30 to 6:30 am and Saturdays from 6:30 am to 7:30 am.
    • Summer: Tuesday from 5:30 to 6:30 am.
  • Format:

    Each session focuses on freestyle swimming and includes warm-up exercises, drills, and sets to build fitness, efficiency, and strength.

  • Locations:
    • Tuesdays and Thursdays – Indoor: Covington Aquatic Center.
    • Saturdays – Heated outdoor: Kent Swim & Tennis Club in Kent.
  • Pricing:
    • RTB members receive a 25% discount.
    • The cost per swim decreases with more sessions purchased.
    • 10.3% sales tax applies at registration.
    • As facility rental and coaching costs are fixed, unused swims cannot carry over between sessions.
  • Equipment:
    • Bring goggles; fins, paddles, and swim buoys are encouraged.
    • For those earlier on in their swimming journey, Lift Shorts are recommended for added buoyancy. and available at Northwest Tri & Bike.
  • Suitability:

    Ideal for individuals who can swim at least 50 yards of continuous freestyle. For those needing assistance, RTB offers support to help you improve.

  • Coaching:

    Led by expert coaches specializing in stroke development, providing personalized guidance to help swimmers achieve their goals.

RTB Group Swims

Many team members swim throughout the week at the local athletic clubs with pools. If you’re a team member wanting to meet up with other team members to swim, make some noise on the Team RTB Facebook page. Not in that group? Email us and we’ll quickly add you.
